TSSB started operation in October 1999. Beginning as a trading company for slit coils, steel pipes and steel plates etc, TSSB then expanded its operation to processing of steel mother coils into slit coils and sheets, manufacturing of steel flat bars, square bars, expanded metals, roofing sheets, cold rolled precision profiles, C&Z purlins etc.

Incorporated in 1962, Tasek Corporation Berhad (a member of Hong Leong Asia Ltd., Singapore) is one of the oldest integrated cement plant in Malaysia and commenced cement production in Ipoh, Perak in 1964 as Tasek Cement Limited. The annual rated production capacity was 250,000 tonnes before expanded the rated capacity to produce up to 2.3 million tonnes of clinker production per year.,Tasek, from the beginning has been one of the major cement manufacturer under its established Crocodile brand, “Cap Buaya”.,The cement is transported from Tasek’s plant in Ipoh by road direct to the users and also by rail to its distribution terminal in Sungai Buloh, Selangor.,Tasek Corporation Berhad through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Tasek Concrete Sdn Bhd supplies ready-mixed concrete to various construction projects in the Klang Valley. Tasek has an associated company, Cement Industries (Sabah) Sdn Bhd which owns a cement grinding plant in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah supplying cement to the whole of Sabah.,Tasek will continue to play a role in contributing to the country’s development and be one of the leading manufacturer in the cement industry operating in harmony with the environment and exceeding customer expectation.
