Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager, Academic Programmes Administration

The candidate for this role will be part of the Infocomm Technology (ICT) team within the Academic Programmes Administration Division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage the operations of programmes and modules.
  • Coordinate and manage class timetables, scheduling and booking of facilities.
  • Oversee and support student lifecycle processes, including admissions, matriculation, module registration, exemptions, exams, withdrawals, leave‑of‑absence requests, certificates issuance, and processing of claims and forms.
  • Organise and manage assessments, examinations, briefings, meetings, workshops, talks, publicity events and other programme-related activities.
  • Assist in collation and submission of students’ results, including preparation of reports, presentations and Programme Performance Indicator analysis.
  • Manage programme budgets, expenditure monitoring, procurement processes and asset utilisation.
  • Plan and organize meetings and serve as secretariat for meetings convened at Cluster/Programme/Committee level.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders—including industry partners, collaborators, overseas universities, polytechnics and other programme counterparts—to maintain effective communication and engagement.
  • Plan and organise programme accreditation.
  • Handle general student and public feedback, inquiries and operational matters.
  • Support recruitment activities, including collation of content and materials for publicity.
  • Support programme accreditation processes and ensure compliance with related requirements.
  • Review, streamline and improve work processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Undertake other programme support assignments as required by Cluster, Programme or Head of Division.

Requirements

  • A Degree from a recognised Institute of Higher Learning, or extensive skills or experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Preferably with experience in a similar position or educational environment, with exposure to systems and operational work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • A highly motivated and adaptive individual, who is able to work independently yet cohesively within a team, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with automation tools, Systems Thinking and Lean Transformation models would be an advantage.
