Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate Azure-based platform capabilities across enterprise environments
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Azure Bicep / Terraform
• Build developer self-service golden paths and reusable platform templates
• Design and manage CI/CD & GitOps pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, ShipHATS or similar
• Implement DevSecOps, policy-as-code, security guardrails and compliance automation
• Support hardening and productionisation of AI-enabled applications
• Implement Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access and least-privilege controls
• Build observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and platform dashboards
• Support FinOps, cost allocation, budget monitoring and TCO transparency

️ Must-Have Skills

10+ years of hands-on Cloud/Platform Engineering experience
Strong Microsoft Azure expertise, including Landing Zones, Azure Policy, Container Apps, App Service, API Management, Defender for Cloud & Cost Management
Experience with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) or regulated enterprise environments
Strong Bicep / Terraform experience
Azure DevOps / GitHub / GitOps / CI/CD
Strong DevSecOps & cloud security experience
Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, Conditional Access & Access Reviews
Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude or Microsoft Copilot
Knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT and enterprise identity integration
Containers, APIs and cloud-native application architecture
Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills
