Responsibilities

Tender Preparation & Estimating

  • You will prepare complete bid packages including quantity take-offs, BOQs, SORs, cost breakdowns and technical submissions for electrical and mechanical scopes.
  • You will review tender documents, drawings and specifications to produce accurate material, labour and subcontractor estimates that are competitive and compliant.

Commercial & Stakeholder Management

  • You will manage RFIs, RFQs and RFPs and handle supplier and subcontractor sourcing, quotation comparison and commercial analysis.
  • You will attend site visits, clarification and commercial meetings, and support client and subcontractor negotiations to finalise tender positions.

Handover, Claims & Records

  • You will prepare post-tender handover packs, contract cost summaries and monthly progress claims for project and finance teams.
  • You will track variation orders, additional works and cost reporting, and maintain organised tender records and documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building or Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with electrical tender specifications and costing, with strong familiarity in material and labour estimation.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong technical knowledge in electrical design and value engineering is an advantage.
  • Experience in hospital, data centre or semiconductor projects is an advantage.
  • Possess own transport for site visits and meetings.

Soft Skills & Qualities

  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines with clear communication to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

As our Tender Executive you will build end-to-end bid packages from pre-qualification through to submission, combining take offs, bill of quantities, schedules of rates and cost estimates. You will manage RFIs, RFQs and RFPs, handle commercial negotiation and contract cost summaries, prepare post-tender handover documents and progress claims, and check variation orders while keeping finance and project teams updated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete tender and bidding process, from pre-qualification through tender submission and post-tender activities. 
  • Review tender documents, scope of work, technical specifications, drawings, BOQ, and contract requirements
  • Perform quantity take-off, material measurement, cost estimation, and pricing for electrical works. 
  • Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Schedule of Rates (SOR), tender pricing, cost breakdowns, and technical submissions
  • Analyze material, labour, subcontractor, and other project costs to develop competitive and accurate tender prices. 
  • Prepare pre-qualification documents, tender proposals, technical data, catalogues, and supporting documentation. 
  • Attend site visits, tender briefings, clarification meetings, technical meetings, and commercial negotiations when required. 
  • Manage and respond to RFI, RFQ, and RFP submissions with clients, suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors. 
  • Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and conduct price comparison and commercial analysis
  • Prepare contract cost summaries, tender analysis, and commercial reports for management review. 
  • Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives to improve project competitiveness. 
  • Prepare post-tender documentation including kick-off reports, project cost budgets, catalogues, and progress claims for project team handover. 
  • Review and manage Variation Orders (VO), additional works, and project quotations prepared by the project team. 
  • Assist with monthly progress claims, cost tracking, and financial reporting for management. 
  • Conduct market research and identify potential suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors. 
  • Maintain proper tender records, pricing information, and commercial documentation. 
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required by management.
