Supply Chain Intern

Job Description Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to join our Supply Chain team. The intern will assist and support various supply chain activities, with a focus on inventory management, order processing, supplier coordination, and data analysis.

This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by using data and insights to identify opportunities for process and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Assist the team in monitoring inventory levels and ensuring optimal stock availability
• Support inventory tracking and reconciliation activities
• Assist in identifying inventory discrepancies and escalating issues where required
• Support timely replenishment activities to maintain appropriate inventory levels

Order Processing

• Assist with order processing activities, including order placement, tracking, and follow-up
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, deliveries, and related documentation
• Support the team in monitoring order status and coordinating delivery activities
• Assist in following up with relevant stakeholders on outstanding.

Data Analysis

• When required, provide support to analyse supply chain data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements based on report and insight provided

Process Improvement

• Actively contribute ideas for enhancing supply chain processes and operational efficiency, and assist in implementing approved process improvement initiatives
