POSITION SUMMARY

The Star Service Operator is responsible for the friendly and efficient service for all telephone operations, including answering and routing calls, answering inquiries, handling wakeup calls, taking messages, and taking In Room Dining orders. This position is instrumental in creating an environment and executing service that blows our guests away.

REQUIREMENTS

· Secondary school degree preferred and/or previous work experience in service for at least 2 years.

SKILLS

· Strong command of software applications, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and hotel-specific platforms (MICROS Opera, Sabre/SYNXIS, Delphi, SUN, etc.).

· Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers and staff, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.

· Fluency in English: additional languages preferred.

· Understanding of lifestyle hotel products and guest services.

· Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
