Key Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and submit weekly, monthly and ad-hoc inventory reports accurately and on time. 2. Conduct monthly inventory cycle counts together with the Store and Production teams, investigate discrepancies and ensure necessary adjustments are made. 3. Monitor and analyse scrap movement and costs, and prepare accurate weekly and monthly scrap reports. 4. Perform month-end inventory closing activities, including inventory reconciliation and journal entries for inventory and scrap. 5. Maintain Master Data for new products and ensure accurate standard costing is maintained in SAP for both purchased and manufactured items. 6. Assist in reviewing and updating product costs, material costs and standard costs in SAP. 7. Prepare weekly and monthly reports related to Indirect Materials and Maintenance costs. 8. Monitor inventory and costing variances and highlight significant discrepancies to management. 9. Support internal and external audit activities, including providing relevant documents, reports and explanations when required. 10. Work closely with Finance, Store, Production, Purchasing and other departments to ensure accurate inventory and costing records. 11. Perform other duties and ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the management. Requirements 1. Minimum Diploma in Finance, Accounting or related field. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or CPA are an advantage. 2. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Costing, Inventory Accounting, Management Accounting or related fields. 3. Experience in SAP and inventory/costing systems is an advantage. 4. Good understanding of inventory reconciliation, standard costing and cost analysis. 5. Strong analytical and numerical skills with good attention to detail. 6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large sets of data. 7. Responsible, independent, proactive and able to work with minimum supervision. 8. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with different departments. 9. Able to identify discrepancies, analyse issues and provide practical recommendations for improvement
