Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Officer based in Bayan Lepas. The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for managing purchase orders and requisitions, overseeing procurement activities, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisitions. This position requires maintaining strong communication with internal teams and vendors to streamline the purchasing process and achieve operational goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in managing Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Management.
• Strong skills in Procurement processes and practices.
• Excellent Communication and organizational abilities.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment actions to ensure stock availability.
• Follow up with supplier to ensure the timely delivery of ordered item.
• Attention to detail and ability to negotiate with vendors effectively.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems for purchasing and procurement.
• Knowledge in ISO 9001 Audit
• At least a diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in a purchasing or procurement role is an advantage.

Requirement

• At least 2 years experiences in purchasing role in manufacturing.
• A team player with a proactive and problems solving mindset.
