Job Responsibilities
- Develop shop drawings, sketches, and sample boards under guidance from Senior Team Members or Project Lead.
- Conduct field surveys and verify existing site conditions; document findings accurately.
- Prepare final drawings based on engineering sketches, specifications, and supporting documentation.
- Independently produce construction documents and manage end-to-end project delivery.
- Draft and finalize construction plans for interior renovation projects using AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Generate detailed floor plans, ceiling plans, elevations, cabinetry and tile drawings, and 3D renderings.
- Perform regular quality checks to minimize errors in construction or fabrication.
- Maintain organized records of all technical drawings, revisions, and approvals.
- Revise plans as required, ensuring all affected sheets and details are updated.
- Follow drafting standards and procedures to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Support process improvements and initiatives to achieve project objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with technical and design teams as needed.
- Communicate professionally with vendors, estimators, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Implement quality assurance processes across technical deliverables while maintaining technical excellence.
- Adhere to department SOPs and company Integrated Management System standards (ISO9001/ISO14001/ISO37001/ISO45001).
Requirements
- Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture from a recognized institution, or membership in a local professional body.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in drafting, architecture, or interior design.
- Experience in commercial or corporate projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of techniques, materials, and products used in commercial/high-end interior environments.
- Familiarity with furniture types, materials, manufacturers, and vendors.
Skill & Knowledge
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp 3D, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project).
- Solid understanding of construction methodology, material application, and current industry trends.
- Highly proactive, self-motivated, and professional.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Capable of leading site visits, design briefings, and independently handling assigned projects.
- Able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
