Key Responsibilities / Scope of Work :

1. Stacker Machine Operations

• Operate the stacker machine to lift load and unload containers at depot.
• Perform container positioning according to yard plan, ensuring correct bay and row placement.
• Stack containers in a manner that optimizes space and maintains stability.

2. Pre-Operational Inspections

• Conduct daily safety inspections on the stacker machine before each shift.
• Check fluid levels (fuel, hydraulic, oil), steering, brakes, lights, horn, and safety devices.
• Report defects or maintenance issues immediately to supervisor/maintenance team.

3. Yard Management Support

• Assist in organizing and rearranging yard stacks based on vessel calls and depot operations.
• Help plan stack adjustments for efficient retrieval and delivery sequencing.
• Support yard housekeeping: keep operational areas clean and free of hazards.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Communicate with yard planners, terminal operators, truck drivers, and supervisors on container movement instructions.
• Follow radio/hand signals and procedures for safe operations.

Requirements :

- Minimum SPM or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience operating a stacker machine, with a strong understanding of safe handling and warehouse operating procedures.

- Valid licence / certificate to operate stacker machine.

- Knowledge of depot operations and container handling

- Familiarity with safety procedures and traffic regulations

- Basic vehicle maintenance and inspection

- Good time management and route planning

- Ability to follow instructions and report accurately

- Physically fit and able to work in container depot environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month

Experience:

• Stacker Driving: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Car Driving License (Class D) (Required)
