Job Purpose

To ensure all construction, installation, testing and commissioning works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, client requirements, industry standards and quality procedures, ensuring successful project delivery within the project timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and Method Statements.
• Ensure all materials delivered comply with approved specifications.
• Conduct inspection for piping, cable laying, jointing, termination and Mobile Substation installation.
• Coordinate inspections with Client, Consultant and third-party inspectors.
• Prepare QA/QC documentation including checklists, inspection reports and material approvals.
• Monitor NCR (Non-Conformance Report), corrective actions and close-out.
• Ensure testing and commissioning documents are complete prior to handover.
• Maintain quality records and project document filing.
• Support project team during client inspections and final acceptance.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in QA/QC for 11kV/33kV electrical infrastructure projects.
• Experience in cable installation, jointing, termination and substation works.
• Familiar with ITP, Method Statement, FAT, SAT and Testing & Commissioning.
• Good knowledge of TNB standards and private industrial projects is an advantage.
• Able to work under fast-track project environment.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
