About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Assistant IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects within the company, ensuring they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project resources, and communicate with stakeholders to align their requirements and expectations.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
Utilize Agile methodologies to drive iterative development and ensure continuous improvement.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships, understanding their business needs, and providing regular project updates.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather, analyse, and document detailed business requirements, translating them into actionable user stories.
Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and testers, to achieve project goals.
Identify and mitigate potential project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
Provide regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and key milestones.
Qualifications
Hold a university degree or higher, preferably in IT / Computer Science or a related discipline
6 years or above experience as a Assistant Project Manager in the IT industry, PMP certification is a plus
Vendor House experience is an advantage
Excellent understanding of IT solutions and services
Experience with project management in software tools & methodologies
Strong interpersonal skills and resourceful
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
