About the Company
Guangdong Intercity O&M Sdn Bhd is the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) provider for the West Section of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) — Malaysia's flagship 665 km rail infrastructure connecting Port Klang to Kelantan. As ECRL moves toward its 2027 operational launch, our team plays a critical role in ensuring the operational readiness of this nation-building project.

Key Responsibilities Requirements
1. Manage HSE for the ECRL telecommunications, signalling, power and traction power supply works; participate in construction method statement and risk assessment reviews, and control risks relating to temporary electrical installations, work at height, lifting operations, electrical isolation and energisation, and simultaneous/interface works.
2. Conduct site safety inspections and hazard identification, and follow through corrective actions to closure; verify safety conditions before equipment installation, system testing, integrated testing and commissioning, and energisation.
3. Organise safety training and emergency drills; participate in investigations of accidents and near misses; maintain HSE registers and compile and submit statistics and reports on inspections, training, corrective actions and incidents.
Requirements
1. Minimum Diploma; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred, in Safety Engineering, Engineering Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field. Must hold a DOSH-recognised Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health and a valid Green Book. NIOSH Safety Trainer, First Aider or emergency response certification is an added advantage.
2. At least 2 consecutive years of HSE management experience in rail transit, railway or infrastructure projects. Experience with a multinational company (MNC) on major infrastructure, railway or rail transit projects in Malaysia is an added advantage.
3. Able to independently prepare HSE plans, conduct toolbox talks, lead accident investigations and root cause analysis (RCA), and respond to regulatory safety inspections; proficient in Microsoft Office for preparing safety reports and training materials.
4. Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with local parties and Group Headquarters. Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.
