Responsibilities

Role Description The VP of Valuation Strategy is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of valuation frameworks and methodologies across the organization. This role oversees the analysis of market trends, financial performance, and digital initiatives to inform strategic decisions and optimize enterprise value. The VP collaborates with executive leadership, finance, consulting, and product teams to align valuation strategies with business objectives, growth plans, and risk management practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding complex valuation projects, reviewing analytical models, providing thought leadership on digital strategy and value creation, and presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and boards. The role also involves mentoring team members, establishing best practices, and ensuring valuation processes meet regulatory, ethical, and professional standards.
Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical Skills with expertise in quantitative modeling, scenario analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven Strategic Planning experience in designing and executing long-term valuation and growth strategies.
  • Background in Consulting, with a track record of advising senior leaders on value optimization and transformation initiatives.
  • Deep knowledge of Finance, including corporate finance, capital markets, and business valuation methodologies.
  • Experience in Digital Strategy, particularly in assessing the impact of technology, data, and digital products on enterprise value.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Excel, BI tools, valuation software).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment.
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ASA, CPA) are beneficial.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, with strong self-management, organization, and time management skills.
