Dualit Asia Limited Hiring! Full Time PRODUCT ENGINEER in Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Job specification:

To work with Customers and Suppliers for product development projects and product improvement projects to the required specifications.

To assist Engineering Manager for New Products/Sourced Products Development to the required specifications.

To work with and provide the technical ************* Suppliers and Quality Team for problem analysis and problem solving for the non-conformance.

To coordinate with different stakeholders including but not limited to Suppliers, Project Co-ordination Team, and Logistics to ensure on-time product deliveries.

To coordinate with Suppliers to follow up technical issues.

To conduct engineering testing at factories or in Hong Kong office and create reports for results/findings/ issues

3D CAD data and drawings management.

Regular life test audits at factories.

Production line inspection at factories, prior to production start.

To attend pilot runs and/or first production at factories and report to Engineering Manager

To communicate with different stakeholders, including but not limited to Suppliers, laboratories and internal teams

Reporting to the Engineering Manager

Application of AI assistants to improve efficiency and effectiveness - a plus.

Occasional travel to China is required, mainly in Guangdong Province.

5-day work week.

The successful applicant will be required to have:

Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or electronic engineering.

Minimum 3 years of experience in small appliances product development. Experience in manufacturing is an advantage.

Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.

Self-motivated, proactive, positive attitude and able to work independently.

Excellent time management skills.

Strong sense of responsibility

Strong problem-solving skills

A team player with good interpersonal skills

Less experience will be considered as Junior Product Engineer
