  • Assist the HR Manager in managing and overseeing the full spectrum of Human Resources functions to support the company's business and manpower requirements.
  • Manage and supervise daily HR operations, ensuring HR policies, procedures, and processes are implemented effectively.
  • Work closely with Management and Department Heads to identify manpower requirements and support effective manpower planning and workforce management.
  • Oversee and support end-to-end recruitment activities for production, technical, engineering, administrative, and management positions.
  • Monitor recruitment progress and ensure vacancies are filled within the required timeline.
  • Oversee monthly payroll, attendance, overtime, leave, allowances, and employee-related claims to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure timely submission of statutory contributions and compliance with relevant Malaysian employment regulations.
  • Manage and advise on employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, counselling, and conflict resolution in accordance with company policies and applicable labour laws.
  • Review and update HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and HR documentation when required.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of employee records, HR databases, personnel files, and confidential HR information.
  • Support performance management, including probation confirmation, performance reviews, KPI monitoring, and employee development initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, training, and development activities.
  • Oversee foreign worker-related matters, including documentation, permits, renewals, accommodation, welfare, and compliance where applicable.
  • Work closely with Production and Operations teams to address manpower, attendance, disciplinary, and employee-related issues.
  • Monitor employee attendance, absenteeism, turnover, manpower levels, and other HR-related KPIs.
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports including headcount, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, overtime, payroll, and manpower reports for Management review.
  • Liaise with relevant government agencies and statutory bodies such as JTK, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN, and other authorities when required.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with the Employment Act 1955 and other applicable Malaysian labour laws and regulations.
  • Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement, retention, welfare, and HR improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and overall employee experience.
  • Lead, coach, and develop HR team members to ensure effective execution of HR activities.
  • Assist the HR Manager in handling HR projects, audits, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial HR role.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in HR operations, recruitment, payroll, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysia Employment Act 1955 and relevant labour regulations.
  • Familiar with statutory requirements including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD, and LHDN.
  • Experience handling blue-collar/production workforce and shift workers is highly preferred.
  • Experience managing foreign workers will be an added advantage.
  • Strong experience in handling employee disciplinary and industrial relations matters.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to work with employees at all levels, including production operators, supervisors, engineers, and management.
  • Good analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems is an added advantage.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential employee information.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
