Role Purpose

Responsible for establishing and leading the Bank's product quality and testing governance across the end-to-end product lifecycle. The role ensures that products are delivered in accordance with business requirements, customer expectations, regulatory standards, and quality objectives by driving effective testing, release readiness, and quality assurance practices. Working closely with Product, Technology, Business, Operations, and external partners, the role promotes consistent delivery standards, strengthens cross-functional collaboration, and drives continuous improvement to support the Bank's digital transformation and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Strategy & Governance: Establish and maintain the Bank's product quality framework, standards, testing strategy, quality gates, and governance across the end-to-end product lifecycle.
• Requirements & Solution Assurance: Partner with Product, Business, and Technology teams to ensure business requirements and solution designs are complete, testable, and aligned with customer, business, and regulatory expectations.
• Testing & Release Management: Govern SIT, UAT, regression testing, and release readiness to ensure products are fully validated and meet functional, operational, and regulatory requirements before production deployment.
• Customer Journey & Quality Assurance: Validate end-to-end customer journeys, business processes, system integrations, and operational workflows to ensure a seamless and high-quality customer experience.
• Quality Risk & Defect Management: Drive defect resolution, quality risk management, and root cause analysis by coordinating cross-functional teams to minimize business and customer impact.
• Cross-Functional Leadership & Vendor Management: Lead quality initiatives across Product, Technology, Business, Operations, and external vendors, fostering shared accountability for product quality and successful delivery.
• Continuous Improvement & Automation: Drive continuous improvement by adopting AI, automation, data analytics, and industry best practices to enhance testing efficiency, product quality, and delivery effectiveness.
• Quality Reporting & Performance Management: Provide clear reporting on product quality, release readiness, key risks, defects, and quality metrics to support timely decision-making by senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, including 2 years in a Test Lead, Test Manager, or Product Quality role.
• Proven experience in SIT, UAT, defect management, release readiness, and end-to-end testing across complex systems.
• Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of digital banking products, customer journeys, system integrations, and core banking processes.
• Familiarity with Jira or equivalent test management tools, with exposure to test automation and AI-driven testing preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive quality outcomes.
