Job Description

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Senior Contracts Executive supports the commercial and contractualmanagement of EPC projects from tender through project completion. The role isresponsible for contract administration, cost control, subcontract management,variation claims, payment certification and contractual correspondence toensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations whileprotecting the Company's commercial interests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer contracts in accordance with project specifications, contractual requirements and company procedures.
  • Review tender documents, contracts, drawings and commercial terms to identify contractual risks and obligations.
  • Prepare, evaluate and administer subcontract agreements, purchase orders and service contracts.
  • Prepare progress claims, variation orders (VOs), extension of time (EOT) submissions and final accounts.
  • Monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, cash flow and commercial performance.
  • Review subcontractor claims, payment applications and final account submissions.
  • Prepare contractual correspondence, notices and commercial reports for clients, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Support negotiations on contractual and commercial matters with clients and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, claims, payment certificates and project documentation.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Procurement, Engineering and Finance teams to ensure effective contract administration.
  • Assist in resolving contractual disputes and support claims management where required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations and relevant industry practices.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in contract administration, quantity surveying or commercial management within EPC, construction or process plant projects.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore standard forms of contract, including PSSCOC, SIA, FIDIC or equivalent.
  • Experience in variation claims, extension of time (EOT), payment claims, subcontract administration and final accounts.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and commercial awareness.
  • Able to interpret contract documents, drawings and technical specifications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and report-writing skills.
  • Self-motivated, meticulous and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
