The purpose of this role is to drive strategic business development by establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a strong market presence. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the strategy, execution, and performance of channels to enhance customer relationships and loyalty, with P&L responsibility for the channel's growth, profitability, and overall management.

The Opportunity:

Drive strategic business development by building and strengthening key stakeholder relationships to enhance market presence and business growth. Responsible for developing and executing channel strategies, managing customer engagement and loyalty initiatives, and overseeing the channel's profitability, growth, and overall performance with full P&L accountability.

Your New Role:

• Manage and deliver the annual new business target.
• Strengthen broker relationships and improve visibility of broker portfolio and new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain the market reputation and presence with brokers and business introducers.
• Develop and share management information (MI) data to influence business decisions.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure delivery of business plan and generate solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Participate in the development of new/revised products.
• Network internally and externally to promote the interests of the company.
• Communicate product changes and updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of current and new e-trading platforms.

About You:

• Significant relevant experience in operational management experience in senior roles within the insurance industry.
• Significant project, programme, and change management experience.
• In-depth experience of market analysis and development planning.
• Experience in leading successful initiatives.
• Experience driving strategic organisational change, including cultural improvements.
• Experience in negotiating, building, and managing strategic partnerships.
• Managing operations/infrastructure and business systems development and support.
• Proven success in delivery management resulting in customer, operational, and financial benefits.
• Experience within underwriting or Finance discipline.
• Strategy and planning in large complex organisations.
• Experience in managing Agents' relationship and business development with financial institutions.
• Experience of Digital distribution.
• Experience of achievement through innovation and customer segmentation in mature markets.
• Experience within customer service/sales environment.
