Responsibilities
The HR Executive supports the end-to-end Human Resources function, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and payroll coordination. The role ensures HR processes are carried out accurately, on time, and in compliance with company policy and applicable labor law.
The HR Executive works closely with department heads, the payroll/finance team, and external stakeholders (candidates, statutory bodies) to deliver a positive employee experience and maintain accurate, audit-ready HR records.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle: job postings, screening, interview scheduling, and offer rollout.
Coordinate pre-employment checks and new hire documentation.
Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding sessions.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries on policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
Support in resolving employee grievances and escalate complex issues as needed.
Coordinate employee engagement activities and events.
HR Administration & Compliance
Maintain and update employee records, HRIS data, and personnel files.
Prepare HR letters (offer, confirmation, transfer, experience, relieving, etc.).
Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies; support policy and SOP updates.
Payroll & Benefits Support
Coordinate with the payroll/finance team to ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
Track attendance and leave records, and statutory compliance (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, etc.).
Support administration of employee benefits programs.
Performance Management Support
Assist in coordinating the performance appraisal cycle and tracking completion.
Maintain records of performance reviews and follow up on action plans.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare periodic HR reports (headcount, attrition, recruitment status, etc.).
Support HR audits and documentation reviews.
General & Ad-Hoc
Ensure HR activities comply with applicable regulatory and company quality requirements.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the HR Manager or Management.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an HR generalist or executive role.
Exposure to a manufacturing, regulated, or fast-paced corporate environment is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Solid understanding of HR functions, labor law, and best practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of confidentiality, integrity, and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
Normal office hours, with flexibility required during peak recruitment or payroll cycles.
Based primarily at the office, with occasional travel as required.
Pay: RM1,733.20 - RM2,700.00 per month
