Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Project Manager with strong FinOps expertise to lead cloud transformation, infrastructure cost optimization, and FinOps initiatives across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have strong project management skills combined with hands-on understanding of cloud infrastructure, cost management, governance, and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cloud migration, transformation, and FinOps projects.
• Drive cloud cost optimization across AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP, and on-premise environments.
• Establish and manage FinOps governance, chargeback/showback, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accountability.
• Work closely with Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Security, and senior stakeholders.
• Analyze cloud and infrastructure spend and identify cost-saving and optimization opportunities.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Support TCO, ROI, business case, and investment analysis for cloud initiatives.
• Evaluate cloud vs. on-premise workload placement based on cost, performance, security, and compliance.
• Oversee vendor engagement, commercial discussions, contracts, and cloud service providers.
• Prepare executive dashboards, cost reports, project status reports, and management presentations.
• Ensure projects comply with enterprise governance, security, risk, and regulatory requirements.

Must-Have Skills

• 3-4+ years of experience in IT Project / Program Management.
• 3+ years of experience in FinOps / Cloud Cost Management.
• Strong experience with AWS / Azure / OCI / GCP.
• Strong understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in cloud migration and transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of cloud cost optimization, rightsizing, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans and waste reduction.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, TCO, ROI and financial modelling.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience.
• Good understanding of enterprise infrastructure including servers, storage, virtualization, networking and Kubernetes.
• Experience with FinOps governance, chargeback/showback and cost reporting.

Good to Have

• FinOps certification.
• PMP / PRINCE2 certification.
• Experience in banking, financial services or other regulated environments.
• Knowledge of cloud governance, risk, compliance and audit requirements.
• Experience with BNM RMiT or similar regulatory frameworks.

Pay: RM11,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
