Job Description

Responsibilities

Job description:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
  • Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable components following industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product owners to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs/services.
  • Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and reliability.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and production issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
  • Ensure applications comply with security, performance, and platform guidelines.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging mobile technologies and recommend improvements where applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 3 years of relevant mobile development experience are welcome to apply.
  • Basic knowledge or hands-on experience with React Native.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
  • Understanding of React concepts such as components, state, props, and hooks.
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Good to Have

  • Knowledge or experience in native iOS development (Swift and/or Objective-C).
  • Knowledge or experience in native Android development (Kotlin and/or Java).
  • Knowledge of mobile security best practices
  • Familiarity with publishing apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Exposure to automated testing frameworks (Jest, Appium).
  • Experience with offline storage solutions such as SQLite or Realm.
  • Knowledge in Agile development environments.
