Role Description The Process Director (AP) Support Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for supporting the Process Director in overseeing Accounts Payable (AP) processes, ensuring that workflows are efficient, compliant, and aligned with organizational standards. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing AP operations, identifying process gaps, and recommending improvements to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness. The specialist collaborates with finance, operations, and digital teams to document business processes, monitor performance metrics, and support the implementation of process optimization initiatives and tools. The role also involves preparing reports, providing guidance on process-related issues, and contributing to continuous improvement projects within the AP function.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Business Process and Business Process Improvement, with the ability to map, document, and refine AP-related workflows.
- Proficiency in Process Optimization and Process Engineering to design and implement more efficient and scalable AP processes.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify root causes of process issues, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Experience in accounts payable, finance operations, or shared services environments, preferably within large or complex organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with ERP or finance systems and basic understanding of digital tools or automation solutions (e.g., workflow, RPA) is an advantage.
- Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
