Role Description The Purchasing Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. This position is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including processing purchase requisitions, preparing and tracking purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. The role involves maintaining accurate purchasing records, monitoring inventory levels, and supporting project teams with their procurement needs. The Purchasing Executive will liaise with internal departments to clarify requirements, negotiate pricing and terms with vendors, and ensure compliance with company policies and budget guidelines. The role also includes resolving delivery or quality issues, updating procurement reports, and contributing to continuous improvement of purchasing processes.
Qualifications

• Strong purchase management skills, including handling Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices, with experience in vendor sourcing and evaluation.
• Effective Communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, good numerical aptitude, and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Relevant experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in Mechanical and Electrical or construction-related industries.
• Proficiency in basic office software and purchasing systems or ERP tools.
• Ability to work on-site in Petaling Jaya, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
