Job Description

Responsibilities

CIVIL & BUILDING FACILITIES ENGINEER
Location: Petaling Jaya/Klang, Selangor | Integrated Facilities Management
MST Facilities Sdn Bhd is seeking a Civil & Building Facilities Engineer to manage civil, structural and building-related facilities for a major multi-tenanted warehouse and logistics portfolio in Klang.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage civil, structural and building maintenance programmes.
  • Inspect building structures, roofs, floors, walls, doors, loading bays and external areas.
  • Identify defects and coordinate timely rectification.
  • Manage minor building improvement, reinstatement and repair works.
  • Coordinate civil, structural and building contractors.
  • Coordinate with the outsourced handyman service provider for minor building repairs.
  • Monitor contractor workmanship, safety, quality and completion.
  • Review quotations, technical reports and work completion records.
  • Maintain building asset and maintenance documentation.
  • Support customer and tenant requests relating to building conditions.
  • Assist the Facilities Manager with building improvement and service quality initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Services, Construction or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' relevant experience in building/civil/structural or facilities management.
  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, industrial, manufacturing or commercial facilities is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of building maintenance and construction practices.
  • Experience managing contractors and minor projects.
  • Strong inspection, reporting and problem-solving skills.
