We're looking for a passionate and creative Interior Designer who enjoys transforming ideas into functional, aesthetically pleasing and buildable spaces. If you enjoy meeting clients, solving design challenges and seeing your concepts become reality, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Be Responsible For

As part of our Design Development team, you'll be responsible for developing design concepts and supporting projects from initial enquiry until project award.

Design Development

· Conduct site measurements and site assessments.

· Develop creative space planning and layout proposals.

· Prepare 2D drawings, 3D visualisations and presentation materials.

· Recommend suitable materials, finishes and design solutions.

· Ensure all designs are practical, functional and aligned with client requirements.

· Design within project budget while maintaining design quality.

· Ensure designs are technically feasible, practical and buildable.

· Coordinate with the Technical Designer to ensure smooth project execution.

Client Engagement

· Meet with clients to understand their business needs, objectives and design preferences.

· Present design concepts confidently and professionally.

· Manage design revisions based on client feedback.

· Guide clients towards practical and value-driven design solutions.

· Build trust and strong client relationships throughout the proposal stage.

· Support the successful conversion of design proposals into awarded projects.

Proposal Development

· Prepare quotations together with the Cost & Contract Management team.

· Develop value engineering solutions while maintaining design intent.

· Support proposal strategy to maximise project success.

· Ensure design proposals are commercially viable and competitive.

· Balance creativity with practicality and project budget.

· Ensure design proposals are practical, buildable and aligned with Gross Profit (GP) targets.

Project Coordination

· Coordinate with Design Development, Project Delivery and Technical teams throughout the proposal stage.

· Ensure smooth design handover once the project is awarded.

· Maintain accurate project documentation and design records.

· Take ownership of projects from initial enquiry until project award.

· Proactively coordinate with internal teams to ensure project readiness and smooth handover.

Continuous Improvement

· Continuously improve design efficiency, presentation quality and client experience.

· Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials and construction technologies.

Who We're Looking For

· Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a related field.

· Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

· Experience in residential and/or commercial Design & Build projects is an added advantage.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Coohom/Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite.

· Knowledge of Revit is an added advantage.

· Strong space planning and design development skills.

· Good presentation, communication and client management skills.

· Good understanding of construction detailing and practical design solutions.

· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

· Passion for design, creativity and continuous learning.
