As the Director of Human Resources, you will play a critical role in shaping our organization's culture, driving employee engagement, and fostering a high-performance work environment. Your primary responsibility is to develop and implement HR strategies and programs that attract, retain, and develop top talent. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead efforts in talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with regulatory requirements. About the Role
Duties and Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
- Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent, leveraging various recruitment channels and employer branding initiatives.
- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection, ensuring a positive candidate experience and timely hiring decisions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, define job requirements, and develop competency frameworks to align hiring with organizational goals and culture.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Foster positive employee relations and a culture of open communication, trust, and respect, promoting a supportive and inclusive work environment.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and team-building activities, to enhance morale and productivity.
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a fair and timely manner, providing coaching, counselling, and conflict resolution support as needed.
Performance Management and Development:
- Implement annual performance appraisal process and tool to set clear expectations, provide feedback, and evaluate employee performance against goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement employee development programs, including training and development initiatives, career planning, and succession planning, to support career growth and advancement opportunities.
Organizational Development and Compliance:
- Lead initiatives to drive organizational development and change management, supporting strategic priorities and business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies, staying abreast of changes in legislation and industry best practices.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and practices to promote fairness, equity, and consistency across the organization.
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement workforce planning strategies, including organizational design, restructuring, and talent optimization initiatives, to support business growth and scalability.
