Job Description:

• Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
• Lead and supervise junior kitchen staff, including Assistant Cooks and Kitchen Helpers
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company expectations
• Plan and organize daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and smooth workflow
• Monitor food stock levels and assist in ordering ingredients and supplies
• Ensure proper storage of food items and maintain inventory control
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in the kitchen
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and company policies
• Assist in menu planning and suggest improvements or new dishes
• Train new kitchen staff and provide guidance on cooking techniques and kitchen procedures
• Handle customer feedback related to food quality when necessary
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Management

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a similar role or senior position
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen operations
• Ability to lead, train, and supervise a team
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
• Ability to maintain consistency in food quality and presentation
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
