Responsibilities
Prepare basic food items including washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting of raw ingredients.
Portion and pack cooked food and pack meals according to standards.
Assist with preparation and packing of tea break items and beverages.
Conduct pre-cooking checks, prepare raw materials for upcoming meals, and ensure proper labelling and FIFO storage.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, and surrounding areas, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
Handle kitchen equipment properly and adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene SOPs.
Demonstrate a growth mindset by being open to learning, improving work processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Packing chilled food into bento boxes for normal and therapeutic meals, ensuring correct portioning and topping up according to specified quantities.
Sealing and labelling therapeutic meals, as well as placing and counting the bento boxes accurately in designated baskets.
Requirements
Willing to learn, hardworking, responsible, and disciplined with a growth mindset
Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Physically fit to carry loads of at least 10 kg and able to stand for long hours (up to 8 hours)
Must possess a valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1.

Working hours: 6 days per week (including weekends and public holidays), 7am - 3pm
