Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications customized for APAC market requirements to enhance payment solutions
• Integrate payment SDKs, transaction modules, and terminal vendor systems to ensure seamless transaction processing
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance architectures supporting high concurrency for payment platforms
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and headquarters in China, including product, testing, operations, and business units, to align technical solutions with business goals
• Translate market and compliance requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions for payment systems
• Prepare, update, and manage comprehensive technical documentation to support development and operational needs
• Monitor and analyze payment industry trends, policies, and compliance standards to ensure solutions remain current and compliant

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Android development experience
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages, Android architecture, and SDK integration

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Experience in payment or FinTech projects such as POS and acquiring systems
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills applied in fast-paced environments
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
• Fluency in multiple languages to facilitate collaboration with regional teams
