Position: AI Systems Engineer (AI Agents & Automation | FMCG)

Location: Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam

Position Summary

We are seeking an AI Systems Engineer who is passionate about building AI-powered business solutions and intelligent automation. This role is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining AI Agents, Large Language Model (LLM) applications, business system integrations, workflow automation, and secure IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate can bridge business operations with AI technologies by identifying opportunities to automate repetitive work, build AI assistants, integrate multiple business systems, and deploy scalable AI solutions that improve productivity across departments.

Key Responsibilities

AI Agent Development & Intelligent Automation

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI Agents to automate business workflows and operational processes.
• Build internal AI assistants capable of handling business tasks such as document processing, knowledge retrieval, customer support, reporting, and workflow orchestration.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into business applications to enhance productivity and decision-making.
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using company knowledge bases and internal documents.
• Implement AI Agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, OpenAI Agents SDK, MCP, or similar) where appropriate.
• Optimize prompts, AI workflows, and agent performance for accuracy, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical applications across business functions.

Business Process Automation

• Design and implement workflow automation to reduce manual processes.
• Develop automated approval flows, notifications, document generation, and reporting systems.
• Integrate AI into daily operational tasks across sales, marketing, finance, HR, customer service, and warehouse operations.
• Identify business processes suitable for AI-driven automation and continuous improvement.

System Integration

• Integrate ERP, HRMS, CRM, POS, accounting, e-commerce, and other business systems through APIs.
• Develop middleware and automation pipelines to synchronize data between systems.
• Support implementation and optimization of internal applications.
• Ensure reliable and secure data exchange across platforms.

Infrastructure & Cyber Security

• Manage Linux and Windows servers supporting AI applications and internal systems.
• Deploy AI applications on cloud or on-premise infrastructure.
• Implement cybersecurity best practices, including access control, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.

Data & Analytics

• Develop dashboards and business intelligence solutions.
• Perform data analysis to support operational and management decisions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across business systems.
• Utilize AI to generate insights and improve business reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in AI implementation, software development, system integration, automation, or related technical roles.
• Hands-on experience developing or implementing AI-powered applications, AI Agents, chatbots, or LLM-based solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and system integration.
• Experience with workflow automation platforms and scripting.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project execution skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into AI-powered solutions.

Added Advantage:

• Experience building AI Agents using frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, OpenAI Agents SDK, MCP, or similar.
• Experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) using vector databases.
• Experience deploying private AI models or local LLMs (e.g., Ollama, Llama, Mistral, DeepSeek).
• Experience with OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude API, Google Gemini API, or similar AI platforms.
• Experience integrating AI into ERP, CRM, HRMS, POS, accounting, or business management systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and workflow orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized AI deployments.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or other business intelligence tools.
• Exposure to CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices.

Remuneration Package:

Basic Salary: RM6,000 – RM10,000 per month

Working Schedule

Working Days: Monday to Saturday (5.5-day work week)

Working Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
