Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Contract and Procurement Executive based in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves managing end-to-end purchasing processes, including preparing and issuing purchase orders, maintaining supplier records, and tracking deliveries to ensure timely and cost-effective supply of goods and services. The executive will review contracts, compare quotations, negotiate pricing and terms with vendors, and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Daily tasks include analyzing procurement data, monitoring budgets, supporting internal stakeholders with procurement needs, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports. The role also requires close collaboration with operations and project teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and technical specifications.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of purchasing processes, purchase orders, and purchase management.
- Candidates should possess solid analytical skills to evaluate quotations, vendor performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and negotiate with suppliers.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in basic procurement and office software (e.g., ERP systems, spreadsheets, word processing).
- Relevant experience in procurement, contracting, or supply chain management, preferably in construction, engineering, or building services.
- Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent procurement activities.
- Understanding of contract terms, vendor management principles, and basic cost-control practices.
