Noordin Mews is looking for an Assistant Hotel Manager to help lead our little heritage hotel in the heart of George Town (Penang).

This isn't the kind of job where you'll spend your day behind an office door. You'll be greeting guests, solving problems, supporting the team, and making sure every stay feels warm, effortless and memorable.

No two days are ever the same—and that's exactly what makes it fun.

What You'll Be Doing

• Be the Hotel Manager's right-hand person and help keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Lead our Front of House team with positivity, confidence and plenty of teamwork.
• Welcome guests, handle requests, and turn little moments into memorable experiences.
• Keep an eye on the details—from rooms and reservations to guest satisfaction.
• Work closely with Housekeeping and Maintenance to make sure everything is ready before guests even notice.
• Share your favourite Penang food spots, cafés and hidden gems with guests looking for local recommendations.
• Step in wherever needed because, in a boutique hotel, everyone helps make the magic happen.

We're Looking for Someone Who

• Loves meeting people and making them feel at home.
• Leads with kindness, confidence and common sense.
• Stays calm when things get busy.
• Enjoys solving problems instead of avoiding them.
• Speaks English and Mandarin (bonus points if you know another language!).
• Has hotel or hospitality experience—but even more importantly, has the right attitude.
