Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer (Robotics) to lead the deployment and implementation of Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) solutions. The ideal candidate will manage robotics projects from installation and commissioning through successful customer handover while working closely with engineering and customer teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end deployment of robotics and AMR automation projects.
- Install, configure, validate, and commission robotic systems at customer sites.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on ROS-based navigation and system integration.
- Develop and execute simulation models to optimize system performance.
- Identify and mitigate project risks during implementation.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Support solution architecture, workflow design, and deployment planning.
- Prepare technical documentation, commissioning reports, and deployment records.
- Deliver customer training and provide technical support during project handover.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Build strong customer relationships and support continuous system improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in robotics, automation, or industrial systems.
- Strong knowledge of robotic systems, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
- Hands-on experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and Python.
- Experience in mechanical assembly, soldering, and hardware integration.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- English language proficiency required; Mandarin is a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 70% field work).
