Accounts Payable Specialist (Shared Services)

We are partnering with a leading international engineering organisation to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for its regional Shared Services team based in Kuala Lumpur.

This role supports multiple business entities across Asia and the Middle East, ensuring efficient invoice processing, payment execution, vendor management, and continuity of finance operations across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, purchase orders and payment runs across multiple entities.
• Perform invoice matching, vendor reconciliations and resolve payment queries.
• Maintain vendor master data and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Support month-end close activities, AP reporting and audit requirements.
• Provide accounts payable support across different countries during peak workloads or team absences.
• Work closely with Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain teams to improve P2P processes and standardisation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay experience.
• Experience in a Shared Services or multi-entity environment is highly desirable.
• Strong ERP systems knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working across multiple countries, currencies and stakeholders.
• Strong English communication skills.
