Job Title: Information Security (Managed Detection & Response)

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Information Security (Managed Detection & Response) professional to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR), Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, DLP, and Security Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead major cyber incidents across the complete DFIR lifecycle, including detection, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident review.
- Drive cyber defence and detection & response strategy aligned with MAS TRM, NIST CSF v2.0, and ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
- Govern and optimize SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and DLP platforms to maximize detection coverage and operational effectiveness.
- Lead detection engineering and proactive threat hunting using the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Develop and maintain security telemetry, logging strategies, and log source onboarding.
- Build security automation and orchestration to improve detection and response capabilities.
- Develop, maintain, and regularly test incident response playbooks, runbooks, and cyber crisis exercises.
- Manage external MDR, forensic, and threat intelligence partners.
- Track and report security metrics such as MTTD and MTTR to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor SOC analysts and security engineers while supporting audits, regulatory engagements, and executive reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Cyber Security or Information Security.
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR)
- Detection Engineering
- Threat Hunting
- SIEM
- SOAR
- EDR/XDR
- DLP
- Security Automation
- Experience with SIEM technologies such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm, ArcSight, Elastic, or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR solutions such as CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, Cortex XDR, or similar.
- Good understanding of cloud security across AWS and Azure.
- Strong knowledge of MAS TRM, NIST CSF v2.0, ISO/IEC 27001:2022, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Experience in the Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance domain will be an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCFA, GCIH, GNFA, GREM, GCTI, CEH, or equivalent are preferred.
