Job Summary:
The Purchasing Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, products, and services required by the company to support daily operations and client orders. This role ensures timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and coordinating closely with internal teams to fulfill client requirements efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and best pricing.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment based on operational and client needs.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Liaise with the operations, sales, and logistics teams to ensure smooth fulfillment of client orders.
- Track and monitor delivery status to ensure timely arrival of goods.
- Handle discrepancies, damaged items, or late deliveries promptly.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier database, and price lists.
- Conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations.
- Support cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing/inventory software.
- Problem-solving mindset with initiative and accountability.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the F&B, manufacturing, or service industry.
- Knowledge of import/export procedures or vendor management will be an added advantage.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
