As a Senior Executive, IT Engineer, you will play a key role in managing and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, security, and performance. This role typically involves both hands-on technical work and strategic planning to support business operations and digital transformation initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage, plan and organize all functional activities of IT department to ensure smooth delivery of all IT project and IT services to end users.
- Manage daily IT activities such as trouble shooting, preventive maintenance, incidents and or problems related to IT system.
- Plan, organize, implement and monitor IT CAPEX and OPEX for Business Unit.
- Provide control and security measures for all IT systems.
- Source and negotiate with vendors in order to select appropriate hardware and software while protecting IT investment against premature obsolescence.
- Represent IT division for business solution evaluation and major IT purchases.
- Manage IT organization resources to ensure the hardware and software are properly maintained and their operation are tuned for optimized usage.
- Ensure the delivery of IT services meet the KPI and comply to stipulated IT policies and procedure.
- Provide consultation or advice to other divisions on IT related matters or decision making.
- Update the management on the progress of IT projects in order to ensure IT objectives are in same direction as organization.
- Developed IT blueprint aligned with overall business agenda and company long-term strategy.
- Maintaining all cases in the company ticket log system, updating incident report or project timeline or status.
- Ensure to respond to issues and problems raised according to internal and external target resolutions
- Taking corrective actions or preventive measures to avoid or minimize system and hardware problems.
- Able to lead and manage the executive level personnel
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Networking or similar.
- Deep knowledge in network design, planning, deployment and configuration.
- Proficient in WAN, LAN, VLAN and WLAN.
- Able to configure and deploy network switches/appliances/firewall without any assistance.
- Basic knowledge in monitoring network and security incidents.
- Knowledges on network optimization and redundancy.
- Knowledges on non-IT (CCTV, Biometric and Access Card Solution).
- Good to have experience in Wintel.
- Attention to detail and excellent diagnostic skills.
- Strong analytical and case management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates strong skills in teamwork, problem-solving, customer service, communication, result orientation, decision-making, self-motivation, integrity, ethical conduct, and continuous learning.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
