Are you an experienced Angular developer ready to lead a high-performing frontend team? We're looking for an Angular Tech Lead to drive the development of modern web applications while mentoring engineers, promoting best practices, and delivering scalable, high-performance user experiences.

In this role, you'll combine hands-on Angular development with technical leadership, working closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product stakeholders to build enterprise-grade web applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing Angular applications in a production environment.
• Proven experience with Angular 15 or above.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Familiar with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
• Strong understanding of Git version control workflows.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Jest, or Mocha is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Previous experience mentoring developers or leading frontend initiatives is highly preferred.

ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and support the frontend development team to deliver high-quality web applications.
• Promote coding standards, engineering best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Drive frontend architecture discussions and recommend scalable technical solutions.

Frontend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular.
• Translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into interactive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following industry best practices.
• Optimise application performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and technical discussions.
• Support successful project delivery by resolving technical challenges and ensuring engineering quality.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Perform application testing and implement unit testing to improve software quality.
• Collaborate with QA teams to investigate and resolve issues efficiently.
• Stay updated with the latest Angular technologies and frontend development trends.
• Identify opportunities to improve development processes, coding standards, and application performance.
