Are you an experienced Python developer looking to build scalable backend systems and modern cloud-based applications? We're looking for a Senior Python Backend Developer to join our growing engineering team and develop secure, high-performance backend services that power enterprise applications.

You'll work closely with product managers, software engineers, and cross-functional teams to build microservices, APIs, real-time systems, and cloud-native applications while following modern software engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of backend development experience with strong expertise in Python.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design principles.
• Experience developing microservices and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar message brokers.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Helm is an added advantage.
• Experience building real-time systems or WebSocket applications is a plus.
• Experience using Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Good understanding of web security best practices.
• Experience with PHP is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

ResponsibilitiesBackend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python.
• Build secure, reliable, and high-performance backend services based on business requirements.
• Develop and maintain microservices architecture for scalable enterprise applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and real-time communication services.

System Architecture & Integration

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and system designs.
• Develop efficient database structures using SQL and NoSQL technologies.
• Implement asynchronous processing using messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Deploy and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Quality & Engineering Excellence

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and recommend improvements to maintain high engineering standards.
• Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security requirements.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Present technical solutions and implementation progress to stakeholders.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes using Git and Jenkins.
• Research emerging technologies and continuously improve development practices.
