Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Application Support Engineer to provide L1/L2 support for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), including Finance, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Inventory, and Order Management modules. The role will be responsible for ensuring application stability, resolving incidents, supporting business users, and driving continuous improvement of ERP processes.
Key Responsibilities
Application Support & Incident Management
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues related to Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Inventory, Warehouse Management, and Order Management.
- Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
- Prioritize and manage incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within agreed SLAs.
- Coordinate with Microsoft, implementation partners, and internal technical teams for complex issues.
Business User Support
- Act as the primary point of contact for end users on Dynamics 365 application-related issues.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Provide guidance and training to business users on system functionality and best practices.
- Prepare user documentation, knowledge articles, and operating procedures.
Change & Release Management
- Support application enhancements, patches, upgrades, and releases.
- Participate in testing activities including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
- Validate system changes and ensure smooth production deployment.
Monitoring & Optimization
- Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
- Identify automation opportunities and process optimizations within Dynamics 365.
- Ensure system availability, security, compliance, and data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or related discipline.
- Experience supporting enterprise ERP applications in Finance or Supply Chain domains.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to retail, logistics, manufacturing, or shared services environments.
- Experience working in ITIL-based support environments.
- Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes.
