Our Client is seeking a skilled ICT Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of the engineering, administration, and operational support for our enterprise Watermelon Test Automation platform. This role is critical to enabling our delivery teams to execute functional, regression, API, and chaos testing across multiple secure environments.
You will bridge the gap between development and operations, managing the underlying cloud infrastructure, proxy layers, and container platforms. This is a high-impact role involving close collaboration with solution architects, cybersecurity teams, and external vendors (including Watermelon engineering teams) to ensure a secure, performant, and highly available testing ecosystem.
Responsibilities and Duties
Administer and maintain the Watermelon Test Automation platform across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
Coordinate platform upgrades, patching, image deployments, and release implementations.
Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and coordinate fixes directly with Watermelon engineering vendors.
Enable project teams to utilize Watermelon for functional, regression, API, and chaos testing activities, supporting onboarding of new applications onto the platform.
Design, implement, and maintain NGINX proxy infrastructure to facilitate secure pass-through connectivity between the Watermelon platform and target application environments.
Manage SSL certificates and secure communication channels.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to coordinate firewall, routing, NAT, and network connectivity requirements to support Watermelon integrations.
Support Watermelon deployments running on OpenShift and AWS EKS container platforms, troubleshooting connectivity and access issues.
Coordinate remediation of vulnerabilities identified specifically within Watermelon platform components and ensure timely deployment of vendor fixes.
Support security reviews and platform hardening activities to maintain compliance with organizational requirements.
Act as the primary technical liaison between internal teams and Watermelon engineering teams for issue investigations and root-cause analysis.
Plan and coordinate Watermelon platform releases and production deployments.
Raise and manage change requests (via ServiceNow/FireFlow), executing deployment validation and post-implementation verification.
Good to Have

Container Platforms – Working knowledge of OpenShift Container Platform and/or AWS EKS.
Linux Administration – Proficiency in managing Linux-based environments.
Infrastructure & Networking – Understanding of network connectivity, firewall management, and SSL certificate management.
Change Management – Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools.
Problem-Solving – Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or enterprise application support.
