Job Summary

Plan and execute construction site engineering tasks to meet project timelines and quality standards. Coordinate with multiple trades and clients to ensure smooth operations, safety, and compliance on high-rise, commercial, or institutional building projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute project implementations according to timelines and specifications to ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate with co-workers across trades and departments to prevent work clashes and ensure smooth workflow
• Analyze construction drawings and prepare construction method statements and technical proposals to support project execution
• Raise Requests for Information (RFIs) promptly to clarify technical issues before work implementation
• Liaise with clients to facilitate site inspections, submit technical reports, and maintain accurate site records
• Plan construction operation sequences in alignment with the Project Quality Plan to uphold quality standards
• Attend site progress and internal meetings to communicate updates and resolve issues
• Manage safety, quality, and progress of subcontractor works to ensure compliance and project success
• Track submission statuses for shop drawings, materials, samples, method statements, and other technical documents
• Conduct daily resource planning, machinery allocation, and equipment management to optimize site operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Civil or a related discipline recognized by the PE Board
• 3 to 6 years of site engineering experience, preferably in high-rise building, commercial, or institutional projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Demonstrated independence, diligence, motivation, and strong teamwork skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel to various project site offices within Singapore
