We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented General Manager to lead the overall operations of our cleaning services business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, business growth, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and workforce management while ensuring compliance with Singapore regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cleaning services business.
• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company objectives and sustainable growth.
• Manage operational budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure profitability.
• Lead, mentor, and manage operations managers, supervisors, and administrative staff.
• Plan and optimize manpower deployment, scheduling, and resource allocation across multiple sites.
• Ensure high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction through regular performance monitoring and site inspections.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing service issues promptly and professionally.
• Identify new business opportunities, prepare proposals and quotations, and support contract negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable Singapore employment laws, workplace safety regulations, and industry requirements.
• Develop and implement policies, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare management reports.
• Work closely with internal departments to improve operational efficiency and achieve business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of management experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role within the cleaning, facilities management, or related service industry.
• Proven experience managing large operational teams across multiple sites.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent financial management and budgeting experience.
• Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
• Good knowledge of Singapore employment regulations and workplace safety requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and business management systems.
