Job Purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Test Analyst to support the planning, execution, and delivery of testing activities for digital banking applications. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery through effective test planning, execution, defect management, and collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain end-to-end test scenarios and test cases based on business and functional requirements.
• Review user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure testability and adequate coverage.
• Execute manual and/or automated testing activities across web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, project discussions, and stakeholder meetings.
• Prepare test plans, test reports, testing summaries, and other project documentation.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), regression testing, and post-production verification activities.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, product owners, and project teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Maintain testing artefacts and project documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing process.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Experience in manual and/or automation testing of web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies, defect management, and test lifecycle processes.
• Experience using test management and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall software development methodologies.
• Experience with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as JBehave is advantageous.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium or Appium is advantageous for automation testing roles.
• Basic understanding of Java or scripting languages is an advantage.
