Job Summary

We are seeking a Nutanix Engineer to design, deploy, and support enterprise Nutanix infrastructure in production environments, ensuring scalable, reliable, and highly available infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, administer, and optimize Nutanix clusters to meet enterprise infrastructure needs
• Plan and execute infrastructure expansion, disaster recovery (DR), and high-availability solutions to ensure business continuity
• Perform virtual machine migrations between VMware ESXi and Nutanix AHV with minimal downtime and operational impact
• Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot platform issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement performance improvements
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams, project stakeholders, and business users to deliver infrastructure projects aligned with best practices

Required competencies and certifications

• Demonstrated hands-on experience managing Nutanix infrastructure including cluster deployment, expansion, lifecycle management, and performance tuning
• Proficiency with virtualization technologies, specifically VMware ESXi and Nutanix AHV, including VM migration and hypervisor administration
• Experience implementing disaster recovery, business continuity, backup strategies, and high-availability solutions for enterprise infrastructure
• Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP), Nutanix Certified Expert (NCX), or equivalent Nutanix infrastructure certification

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Ansible to enhance infrastructure management
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code practices and infrastructure monitoring tools
• Familiarity with enterprise storage, networking, backup solutions, cloud integration, and hybrid infrastructure environments
