Job Description:
1. Site Supervision
- Supervise daily construction activities.
- Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor workmanship and quality of work.
- Coordinate subcontractors and site workers.
2. Project Planning & Coordination
- Prepare and monitor work schedules.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors.
- Arrange manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment.
- Attend site meetings and technical discussions.
3. Quality Control (QA/QC)
- Inspect incoming materials.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant standards.
- Conduct inspections before consultant or client inspections.
- Rectify non-conformance issues.
4. Safety Management
- Ensure compliance with site safety regulations.
- Conduct toolbox meetings.
- Monitor the use of PPE.
- Report and investigate safety incidents.
5. Technical Support
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Resolve technical issues on site.
- Prepare method statements and work procedures.
- Assist with design changes and Requests for Information (RFIs).
6. Documentation
- Prepare daily site reports.
- Record site progress.
- Prepare inspection requests (IRs), material submissions, and as-built records.
- Maintain site diaries and documentation.
7. Material & Equipment Control
- Monitor material deliveries.
- Verify material quantities.
- Ensure sufficient materials are available for scheduled work.
- Monitor equipment utilization.
8. Progress Monitoring
- Track actual progress against the project schedule.
- Identify delays and propose recovery plans.
- Report weekly and monthly progress to the Project Manager.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of site supervision experience in construction or M&E projects.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good knowledge of site supervision, QA/QC, and safety requirements.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage.
- Possess a valid driving licence and willing to travel to project sites.
- Experience in water or wastewater treatment plant (WTP/WWTP/STP) projects will be an added advantage.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
