Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting functions. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently, maintaining a high level of accuracy, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Prepare tax schedules, SST submissions, audit schedules, and other statutory reports.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial transactions.
• Review accounting entries and identify discrepancies to ensure minimal errors.
• Provide financial analysis and reports to support management decision-making.
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience handling full set accounts.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and committed to producing accurate work with minimal errors.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
