Job Summary
This is a CAT 1 Demand
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
NetApp Administration: Administer NetApp ONTAP clusters, nodes, SVMs, and aggregates. Manage volume provisioning (NFS/CIFS) and implement data protection using SnapMirror and SnapVault.
Dell EMC Management: Perform storage provisioning, LUN creation, and mapping/masking on platforms such as PMAX, SRDF & DR activity.
Pure Storage Operations: Manage FlashArray and FlashBlade environments using GUI, CLI, and the Pure1 portal for predictive analytics and capacity expansions.
SAN Switching (Brocade): Configure and troubleshoot Brocade SAN switches. Perform fabric monitoring, zoning (creation/modification), and resolve connectivity or port-related failures.
Capacity & Performance: Monitor storage utilization trends and perform capacity planning to accommodate business growth. Use tools like Active IQ, Unisphere, and Pure1 for performance tuning.
Incident & Change Management: Provide L2/L3 support for storage incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and execute firmware upgrades or OS patching following ITIL processes.
Act as the final tier of technical support (L3) to resolve critical, high-impact storage outages and performance degradations.
Perform deep Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with vendor TAC (NetApp, Dell, Pure) for hardware replacements and critical bug escalations.
Develop and maintain operational runbooks, disaster recovery plans, and SOPs.
Create scripts (Python/Ansible) to automate repetitive provisioning, reporting, and maintenance tasks.
