Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! Your role encompasses daily journals and includes (but is not limited to) inventory, month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and other administrative duties. As a
Finance Executive (GL), you’re not just responsible for the bookkeeping phase of the Finance department – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
- Monthly Statements and Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly statements and ensure accurate voucher entries. Complete all financial reports accurately and in a timely manner, including owner-required financial reports.
- Bank Reconciliation: Prepare weekly bank reconciliations
- Commission Review: Verify travel agent commissions for compliance with Hilton standards
- F&B Control: Review and certify food and beverage adjustments
- Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate tax payments
- Ledger Management: Adjust general ledger accounts and maintain supporting documentation

In Addition, This Role Requires The Following Minimum Qualifications
- A degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 1 year of working experience as General Ledger or higher in the hospitality industry.
- Mature and reliable person.
- Previous experience in a managerial operational accounting role.
- Fluent in written and spoken English to meet business needs.
- Open to Malaysian and possess legal working rights in Malaysia.
